TV OS has been developed by apple inc. It has been written in programming languages like c,c++,swift and objective c etc. Its latest release is tvos 9.2.2 on July 18,2016.Its marketing target is television and  casual gaming. tvOS application is available in multilingual languages. Basically, it is operating systems developed for the fourth generation Apple TV media digital player which is the only device which runs this application. At September 2015 event, Hipster Whale’s sum demoed Cross road for the Apple TV available via tvos app store. Eddy cue on June 13, 2016 announced at WWDC  that the next major version of tvOS application, tvOS 10 will be equipped with new functionality such as Siri search enhancements, single sign on for cable subscriptions, a dark mode and a new remote application for controlling the Apple TV.

It has been now shipped with most advanced features on the fourth generation apple TV like ability to move through the interface with the new touchpad remote using multitouch gestures. Its all new APPS store can download, install new applications like apps and games as developed by the developers. tvOS application has now more customization options like screensaver cinematics and control the TV using the included Siri with the built in support for HDMI CEC in it. Pairing with MFi game pad to control the games using with Siri remote paired with third party universal control. It supports for all new SDKs for developers to including API’s such as Metal.
